The Unseen Forces that Move Us
The one thing that we can all count on in life is change. Making these changes for positive and inspiring things may not always come easy, or does it? Once we learn a few basic principles we find out the only thing that really stands in our way is within our own thoughts themselves. Our thoughts are made up of energy and the more light we cast upon them with positive uplifting ideas we start gaining awareness and these transitions start flowing better.
We don’t realize that these sometimes insurmountable obstacles we’re up against are put there by our own thought waves. That’s right, the unforeseen force that moves us is in fact our own mind. When we feel like all things in the universe are against us it’s actually our own inner conscience that says I feel this so it must be so.
The first step in our understanding has to be the realization that all change happens as part of our learning process here. Think of these human bodies we wear as school uniforms and we all have to wear them as part of the curriculum. Every cell within these bodies carries a memory and has the ability to store memories like a filing system. This also means that we have a complete set of instructions built within us.
How do we access these instructions? Simple, we don’t have to reach in it pops up automatically in the form of intuition; kind of like the sensor lights in our cars telling us something’s wrong. We put oil in the car when the light tells us to right? We already know how to trust that inner programming for things like breathing, eating and going to the bathroom. No one has to tell us to do those things we instinctively know and go on an autopilot. All other aspects work that way as well but some how we put the breaks on at letting our instincts run the rest of the show.
Realizing the mirror effect that we have on each other is helpful in understanding the thought processes we go through. It is a key ingredient in learning how easy it is to commiserate with each other as a way of bonding. This is a great thing when the commiserating is of a positive nature but all too often it is a negative contagious thing that drags us to the bottom quickly. As an example say a friend calls to say they just had an accident. They start going on about what a stupid jerk the other guy was and how put out they have become. We could start in by saying you poor thing what horrible thing to happen, you didn’t deserve that and yeah what a jerk. Instead maybe say “you’re not hurt right?” “You’re covered by insurance right?” “Now you might get that new car you wanted right?” The accident happened for a reason but you may never see that reason if you only see the negatives surrounding it. It is essential that we look for the positives because they are always there just as much as the negative. The negatives are too but we need to ask ourselves why would anyone choose to focus on them given the choice?
So why do we repeatedly keep failing at things when these changes come up? It’s because we question those intuitive inspirations that come up. We tend to go with our feelings even if they’re negative not realizing that we have a choice to choose the positive instead. We let friends wallow in self pity because we feel sorry for them and we don’t realize that we’re making it worse for them when we help them linger in it. We are afraid of losing a friend if we tell them to get over it and move on. Everything in life is a choice and those choices make up our future. We make it as hard or as easy as need be. Changing your focus is changing your life. It doesn’t make sense to expect a positive outcome when your focus is on negative aspects.
So who’s fault is it that we think the way we do? Well it’s Mom and Dad’s fault of course. No not really but in a way it is. We are programmed at birth to look at things the way we do. It’s gone on for generations and we think we’re doing right by our off spring to keep them in line and mold them like we were molded. What we’re really doing is limiting our selves and our children every time the ideas we have seems off the wall so we put a stop to it. We have a great system in play here where we try things and many times we fail or don’t get it quite right but when we try those inspirations that come to us we find out what it entails and the possibilities become endless. When we dismiss our dream or our children’s dreams as if they are nothing but a pipe dream we sell our self short and we’ll never know what it could have been.

NO ORDINARY MOMENTS
Why is it that we believe things just happen and we have no control over outcomes? Why do we feel a need to blame someone when something bad happens? How it is that five people will look at an incident and give five different responses to what has occurred?
Every moment in this life has a meaning to each of us but it may be different to each of us. We can take something from any given moment in our life but the significance is up to us to gauge. There are no ordinary moments in this life and what we do with each one of them is up to the individual.
People often think its funny when they hear about something that they just encountered previous to that moment. That has to be a coincidence of course. This happens numerous times to all of us and repeatedly we choose to see it as a coincidence. It is important to see that it is a choice to look at it that way.
We have signs all around us guiding our path and keeping us in the flow of life. Ignoring those signs can be as deadly as ignoring a caution sign on a highway. We see detours as somebody messing with our personal agenda and taking us out of our way. In fact we could be looking at it as some new scenery to enjoy on our path. It might be a discovery that can only happen when your path has been altered. Maybe the individual waiting for you on the other end of that was supposed to take care of something with out you as part of there learning process.
We are only guaranteed the moment we are presently in right now. Taking life as a day to day proposition needs to be narrowed down to a moment by moment one instead. We can build up an incredible surge of energy in a single moment and if we carry that through to the next moment it can increase our rate of flow dramatically. Understanding that how we handle any given moment in life has a direct influence on any upcoming moments for us as well.
The resistance we come up against is solely in our mind. It’s always a choice to look at something as a challenge or something you’re just burdened with again. The key is in realizing that this so called burden will keep occurring until you realize that it is a challenge.
If you are walking down a sidewalk and see it a pile of crap in the path are you going to step in it or go around it. You go around it of course and keep your flow going. The one who truly looks ahead in their path though will stop and clean it up for those who follow behind them. You then have created a better moment for someone else’s path or a cleaner one anyway. That was just a walk down a sidewalk now you try to imagine that on a bigger scale with everything in life. All of it comes down to choice while we make our way down the path. Some people don’t even see that cleaning up the crap is a choice as well. Why should they since they didn’t put it there in the first place.
Go beyond the moment with every moment and see why you might be in that moment. Live like it’s the last moment since it may be for all you know. When you have a choice to see all that is possible versus only what it looks like to the naked eye why not take it to whatever level your mind can flow to. We have limits on our moments only when we put a limit to it. Don’t put one there and you won’t have one there.

The Art of Taking
When we finally can see that it was ours all along we pick it up. We look at things that are well within our reach and somehow don’t feel justified in picking it up. A dream will stay a dream if you don’t live it out loud. Self forgiveness is mandatory to excel as a human.
The universe gave us all intuition to use as a guide yet we second guess it all the time. We usually end up making a comment like “I knew that, why didn’t I?” but we didn’t. It’s time for new glasses that will extend the vision to the point where a person can see their real potential.
We live in a very abundant universe and what we see in our minds eye can be manifested in life for us. The problem lies in the fact that what we receive in life is what we believe in. We put too many limits on our beliefs and subsequently we fall short of reaching those dreams.
We all have that survival instinct that kicks in when were hungry. We tend to step up quicker when there is an ache in the tummy. That same intuition kicks in earlier but we hold back and rate how deserving we might be at this time. This is where so many people differ in life. Hold your regard for yourself as high as you can all of the time. Never rely on what others think of you as much as what you think of yourself.
We should all be marveling at these wonderful bodies that we have been given. They carry a multitude of possibilities that they are capable of performing for us. We are here to have, do and be anything we desire. We are imprinted with genetics to achieve all we focus on. So here is the challenge of where you put your focus on.
Our efficiency will increase as we start acting on our thoughts. So many know how to dream up a wonderful path for themselves but they don’t know how to act upon it. We can attract anything we need to come in to our universe but it useless until we see our own value enough to know we have a right to reach out and grab it. If you’re not picking these up then your focus must be on that you “can’t handle it” rather than “if I only got the opportunity I would?”
So it must stand to reason that if were not utilizing our opportunities then we have some fear of not handling it right. We always seem to have a fear of failure like there is an awful thing about mistakes we make. Actually it is the one of the things that ties us together here. We all fail many things in this life and eventually we are to learn from our mistakes. So it must be the shame we tag with the failures. Why do we judge ourselves and each other so harshly with shame at mistakes instead of seeing the goodness in trying something even if it did end in failure?
The real art in taking is to realize that everything is there for the taking it’s just are you ready to take all that’s coming at you. Give it your all when you do knowing that even a failure with it was something you were supposed to take too.

REMEMBERING YOUR COVENANT
What is a covenant? Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary describes it as "a written agreement or promise usually under seal between two or more parties especially for the performance of some action. The common-law action to recover damages for breach of such a contract."
Most people who follow a religion try to adhere to the covenants within that religion. Some times because of fear of reprisal and other times of the promise of something wonderful. What about your own personal covenants that you have within yourself? Do you feel them rise up in certain situations to an overwhelming level? What do you do with them when they present themselves in that way? Do you even realize that this is what's going on sometimes?
Our intuition is our guide on a day to day level of knowing what to and not to do. The key to knowing how it works for each of us is learning where our intuition goes for its guidance. We make an internal covenant with our maker before we ever arrive on this plane. It has a complete list of goals and plans to achieve these covenants and our intuition acts accordingly with that plan to keep us on path.
Most people don't consciously realize that they come here with a plan they just say "I always dreamed I would do..." Of course we all have free will and we can equally ignore the knocking of intuition. This is like ignoring a map you had made up on map quest for that long trip you were taking and then wondering why you got so far off course. It's why so many people only see their dreams as just that a dream.
Now in the definition above for a covenant it talks about the common law action for recovering damages for breach of such a contract. What penalties would you impose on your self for not doing what you had promised your self that you would do? This is where Karma slips in and does its job trying to keep us balanced. In our jobs that we go off to daily can you imagine telling your boss that it didn’t seem realistic so I didn’t even attempt to do it? This is what we do every time we shoot down a dream that pops up from within.
Make no mistake in the fact that we all come here with a covenant in place within each of us. Call it your dreams or wishes if that wording suits you better but not one of us is without one. Some are simple and uncomplicated only requiring us to fulfill a basic guideline and let freewill do the rest. Others here on this plane have more elaborate expectations for their life and what they wish to accomplish. Here’s the easiest part about it all, you only have to look within yourself to find the answer for you. Like any job the boss wants to see you making an attempt at it because that is the first step in making a success at it.
